Ivan Taylor died the year after he matriculated.  He and several other national servicemen were killed in 1962 in a road accident involving their truck -- the 19 year old driver had taken a corner too fast, and the vehicle rolled.   Ivan was a cousin of the late Harold Taylor, also in our year at DHS.
