Colin Wake joined us in 5th form, when his family immigrated from the UK.   He was quite startled at first by DHS discipline (much firmer than his previous school) and by DHS academic standards (much higher), but eventually adjusted.   He died around 1964 in a vehicle rollover accident on the main Durban-Pietmaritzurg road.
