Bryan Clouston took his CIS qualification after leaving school. He married Nanette Trosch in 1968. He died in Howick on 21st November 1998. Please see John Thompson's words about Bryan, below.
Bryan matriculated in 1963 and went on to do a CIS. After working for Murray and Roberts for a few years joined the McCarthy Group as Company Secretary where he built a career becoming a director of several Group companies.
Bryan was a gifted rugby player and played 1st team for at least 3 years at prop. He cultivated an air of eccentricity and was an avid bird watcher, wine lover and Berg hiker.
He died far too soon of cardiac arrest in his sleep in 1998. He left Nanette and 4 children - Joy, Travers, Shenley and Myles. They are all married now and there are 2 grandchildren he never knew
